Welcome to class 2.2!

welcome aboard.jpeg

Hello everybody! Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Ms. Alexia and I am following the B.A.(Hons) in Early Childhood Education and Care at the University of Malta. I am currently in my last year of studies and for my teaching practice I have been assigned to this class. It is my absolute pleasure to be trusted with your precious ones! I’m already growing very fond of them! We are spending 6 weeks together until Christmas and another 6 weeks from the 6th of March till the 16th of April. I am definitely looking forward to experiencing this journey together! I promise I’ll do my absolute best to help your little ones feel safe, secure, happy and full of enthusiasm for learning.

This, however, won’t be as fruitful without your collaboration. Noone knows your child as much as you do and if we work together we can certainly help your child strive for his/her full potential! I would be uploading some useful links and updates. Kindly note that Ms. Maria would still be the main contact person, but feel free to leave some feedback here as well 🙂

Looking forward to spending this year with your little munchkins!

Magician and Christmas Party

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope you enjoyed our Christmas concert! The children had a blast 🙂

This is a kind reminder about the two upcoming events. Tomorrow, Mr. Alfred the magician will be doing a magic show for the kids. I’m sure they’re going to love it! Then on Friday..it’s time to party!! The children don’t need to wear the uniform and food will be provided as instructed in the circular letter. However, kindly provide them with a water bottle. Please also note that school is till noon and there is no Klabb 3-16 services available.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for being so helpful and supportive throughout these 6 weeks. It was definitely the best teaching practice experience so far! I know I’m going to miss our munchkins so much and I’m already looking forward to coming back in March for another 6-week journey together.

Wish you and all your families all the very best!

Ms. Alexia

Christmas Concert

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope you are well and you are as excited as we are for the Christmas concert. The children have been working very hard for over a month now and they are super eager to show you their dance routine 🙂

I would like to kindly remind you that the children need to wear pyjamas, bed slippers and a Christmas hat. The concert is on Wednesday 19th December and it is going to be held at 9.30am upstairs in the school hall. You are free to take your child home immediately after the show.

Kindly also note that we are having dress rehearsals on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th December and therefore they need to wear the pyjamas on these days as well.

We can’t thank you enough for your support. We are all looking forward to Wednesday. We hope to see you all there and to enjoy our show! 😉

Merry Christmas to all!

Ms. Alexia

Our new Santa’s mail station!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I just finished setting up our new literacy area! Do you like it? It invites the children to write letters to Santa. It’s a perfect opportunity for the children to practice all the letters we’ve learned over the last few weeks. They have different letter templates to choose from as well as blank papers. I can’t wait for the children’s reaction!! Do you think they’ll love it?
